“Headline” replaces the former postal sorting office in Innsbruck’s Brunecker Straße.

As well as representing a visible improvement for the entire district the modern, aesthetically appealing office and commercial building creates a new living environment. The form and appearance of the new complex are the work of the Vienna architectural office Henke und Schreieck.

The five-story, lightly twisted building form and the 49 meter, twelve-story hotel tower – the project’s landmark – give the Brunecker Straße an elegant new face. The 21,000 m2 of usable space contain office and commercial areas while creating room for up to 1,000 jobs.

The top story is home to a roof terrace which is accessible to all and which offers breathtaking views over the city and the dramatic Tyrolean mountain ranges. The building, which slips harmoniously into the cityscape, also marks the new eastern point of entry to downtown Innsbruck.
