Buildings are built for people !

As a human being I feel most comfortable in a natural environment. This thought and the knowledge that we only borrow resources from our planet for the construction of buildings but also for private consumption were the foundation stone for my choice of profession as a timber construction engineer. The focus of my studies on building physics and energy efficiency finally brought me to important areas of sustainable building. Energy-saving buildings not only reduce energy consumption during the operating phase but also ensure lower total life cycle costs and reduce the eco-balance. I see my task at ATP sustain as making a small contribution to the built world of tomorrow through well thought-out and integrally planned energy concepts.
